History of Hanna Heating & Air Company
Hanna Heating & Air Conditioning has a long history of quality work and community service in Wichita and surrounding community. Take a look at the timeline of our Kansas heating and air company since our very beginnings several decades ago.
- 1983
Hanna Heating and Air Conditioning Company was founded, officially opening in June at Pam and Carl Hanna’s residence in Wichita, Kansas.
- 1984
Operations moved to the building of Detmer Sheet Metal which Hanna then purchased.
- 1985
Just two years after opening, it was time for a move. In 1985, Hanna Heating and Air Conditioning Company moved to new location at 220 N. West St., where it still operates as its Wichita location today.
- 1996
Demand for Hanna’s service was high, and the family-owned company needed more space. Hanna saw its first expansion in 1996, when a sheet metal warehouse was built.
- 2002
Focused on offering excellent customer service, Hanna quickly earned a great reputation in the community. Wichita-area customers continued to rely on Hanna, increasing business and allowing the company to acquire Dahco Heating and Air Conditioning.
- 2005
Hanna Heating and Air Conditioning Co., Inc. expands into the Andover market, opening a new location at 2015 N. Andover Rd.
- 2008
A big year for Hanna, 2008 also saw the expansion of the Wichita location at 220 N. West St., when the neighboring, former Expert Auto Shop building at 224 N. West was purchased.
- 2008
Continued growth allowed Hanna Heating and Air Conditioning Co to Expand into another new market. Hanna acquired Denny’s Heating and Air Conditioning in 2008, located at 506 W. 22nd St. N., Newton, KS.
- 2009
The Hanna Heating and Air Conditioning family saw even more growth in 2009, with the acquisition of the Wichita Division of Airtron.
